You will able to attend 2 Yoga classes daily;
The morning session will be an energizing, dynamic practice of one hour and 30 minutes for a wonderful start of the day. The morning practice will include Surya Namaskar - sun salutations.
The one-hour evening yoga session is designed with a more restorative, calmer approach to end and reflect on your day. This session may include pranayama, restorative yoga, Yin yoga, and Yoga Nidra.
The available yoga and meditation classes are suitable for everyone, from beginners to experienced yogis.
You will enjoy three meals per day, composed of healthy, seasonal, organic vegetarian, or vegan or raw food along with freshly prepared healthy, homemade raw snack delights, detox juices, and evening herbal tea.
The experienced chef has a true love and deep knowledge of healthy food. He is exceptional and he always loves to share his knowledge with the participants. He will concentrate on the nutritional, healthy value of the locally grown, fresh Mediterranean food and will be spoiling you with delicious, nutritious meals, with a Mediterranean touch. Please note that on this retreat, there will be no sugar used in foods, as well as no meat and alcohol.
Joy of the Mediterranean's chef was asked over and over again during the retreats if he would be willing to show participants how they can prepare themselves some of the delicious and nutritious healthy foods that he is making. Therefore Joy of the Mediterranean has decided to include one cooking class into this retreat.
You will learn how to make few simple foods from the scratch, and afterward, you will be able to make this foods at home, so that you can continue the healthy eating after you return home.
You will learn also about the nutrition value of foods, and how to implement the use of herbs in your cooking, so that it can help you to support your well-being and health long after you have returned home. There will be also a foraging trip where you will learn how to spot edible plants.
There are two "free days" during this retreat - days without planned activities ( yoga classes still take place on these two days). During "free days", you can choose to rent a kayak and explore the lakes, or rent a mountain bike and explore national park on wheels.
The retreat will take place in an old stone village right above the lakes and the national park.
Each participant will have its own beautiful apartment or its own cottage house - all the accommodation is taking the place in typical stone houses which were charmingly restored and designed to be very comfortable. They all have heating, air-conditioning, as well as free Wi-Fi.
All the accommodation is placed 10 to 50 meters away from the main house where yoga, meals, and cooking workshops will take the place.

Tours around the island of Mljet
There will be an easy, slow hike to beautiful mountain Montokuc with breathtaking panoramic views - hike towards the top will be done in silence, with mobile phones turned off, so that we can enjoy "forest bathing" and connect with ourselves on a deeper level. This hike will be followed by fresh fish or veggies lunch, from the garden to table, at the small local taverna next to the lake, run by the local fishermen and his wife. You will not enjoy just great food but will also eat in the amazing surrounding, your table will be just next to the lake.

"Forest bathing" session - forest bathing improves immune system, sleep quality, mood, ability to focus, and reduces stress levels, anxiety, depression. Spending time in nature, in silence, away from modern technology and big cities can improve your physical and mental health by reducing the effects of stress on your body.
Hiking tour through hills of Mljet with a local forager who will shows as how to recognise wild edible local plants and herbs, and how to preserve them and store them, so that we can use them in the kitchen throughout the winter. We will also learn how to use the wild herbs as simple but effective home remedies.
Adventures trip to Odysseus Sea Cave, with swimming in the cave, and meditation on the cliffs surrounding the cave.
